Day 2. Prague
Today, you will explore the beautiful city of Prague with an expert guide. Discover the World Heritage-listed Old Town, St Vitus Cathedral, Charles Bridge and Prague's Old Market Square. BD
Day 3. Prague, Berlin
This morning after breakfast, travel across the border into Germany. As you journey through the state of Brandenburg, enjoy views of beech forests and pastures filled with colourful rapeseed and sunflowers. Continue by coach to the German capital of Berlin and settle into your room at the Sheraton Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade, your home for the next three nights.

Day 4. Berlin, Potsdam
Once a city literally cleaved in two, modern-day Berlin now embodies a fascinating blend of the old and the new. Start your day with a guided tour that will take you past many of the must-see landmarks. See the historic Reichstag building and the Brandenburg Gate – a symbol of peace and a reunified Berlin. You'll also visit a ruined section of the Berlin Wall. After enjoying free time for lunch, travel by coach to Potsdam where you'll embark on a guided tour of the incredible Sanssouci. B
Day 5. Berlin
Take advantage of a full day at leisure to further explore Berlin. Perhaps make your way to the visitor platform of the prominent Fernsehturm to enjoy panoramic views of Berlin’s eclectic urban landscape. Or, if the sun’s out, you might like to grab a delicious currywurst, a traditional Berlin sausage and head to one of the city’s leafy, lakeside parks to soak up the sunshine. B
Day 6. Berlin, Warsaw
Today you will farewell the incredible city of Berlin and travel through the beautiful, rolling countryside of East Germany to Warsaw. Enjoy an orientation walk through the charming capital of Poland, before relaxing over dinner, where you'll discover the delights of Polish cuisine.

Day 7. Warsaw
The brutal events of World War II have indeed left their mark on the city, yet the Warsaw of today is diverse and progressive, filled with stylish boutiques, chic restaurants, new museums and modern buildings. An enthralling city tour takes you to the site of the Jewish Ghetto, which was home to the largest Jewish community in Europe. You will also visit Łazienki Park where you will glimpse the elegant Łazienki Palace with its surrounding serene waters and ornate statues. B
Day 8. Warsaw, Auschwitz, Kraków
Today you will journey through rolling farmland from Warsaw to Kraków. You might be moved to tears on a tour of the haunting Auschwitz-Birkenau, where you'll learn about the plight of the Jews who were sent to these Nazi concentration camps. Afterwards, check-in to your hotel in Kraków and enjoy free time to explore.

Day 9. Kraków, Wieliczka
Enjoy the sights of Kraków on a tour, taking in the Wawel Royal Castle and the famous Old Town. Afterwards, tour the Wielickzka Salt Mine. This ancient abandoned mine is a marvel, featuring a maze of underground chambers, grottoes and statues chiselled out of rock salt by miners hundreds of years ago. Later, enjoy a traditional Kraków folk show and a delicious Farewell Dinner. BD
Day 10. Kraków, Banská Bystrica, Budapest, Embark Ship

Day 11. Budapest
Awake to views of one of the Danube’s most enchanting riverside cities this morning. Disembark and learn all about Budapest’s colourful history as your local guide takes you to Matthias Church, the Fisherman’s Bastion, Heroes’ Square and Buda Castle. You’ll also get to see the majestic Hungarian Parliament Building perched on the river. This evening, enjoy a Gala Dinner on board. BLD
Day 12. Vienna
Embrace the sheer elegance of Vienna as you drive around the Ringstrasse this morning, taking in some of the city’s most famous buildings – the Vienna State Opera, the Museum of Fine Arts and more. Upon arriving in the city centre, join a walking tour for an insider’s view on a number of the best-loved landmarks, including St Stephen’s Cathedral, the Graben, Hofburg Palace and the Albertina. Like a Local – pay a visit to the famous Naschmarkt. Browse the fresh produce stalls and perhaps sample some local delicacies. BLD
Day 13. Vienna
With the day at leisure, you may like to further explore the Hofburg area – home to the Imperial Treasury and the Spanish Riding School – or wander along Kärntnerstrasse, the city’s famous shopping strip. BLD
Day 14. Dürnstein, Melk
Cruise to the quaint town of Dürnstein and enjoy a stroll over the cobbled streets past 16th-century town houses and taverns. The town is dominated by the hilltop ruins of the castle where King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in 1192. Later, dock in Melk and join a local guide for a tour through Melk Abbey. An active Benedictine monastery since 1089, it sits atop a rocky outcrop overlooking the Danube River. BLD
Day 15. Passau
Awake in the pretty ‘Three Rivers City’ of Passau, where the rivers Inn and Ilz join the Danube. Then, cruise across the border into beautiful Austria. BLD
Day 16. Regensburg
Continue along the Danube River to the enchanting town of Regensburg, located in the southern region of the Bavarian Forest. Here, a guided tour along its cobblestone lanes tells of the medieval town’s journey through the ages. Afterwards, enjoy some time to perhaps wander the historic streets at your own pace. BLD
Day 17. Nuremberg
Glide over the Main-Danube Canal, crossing Europe’s Continental Divide through the canal’s series of incredible stair-step locks. The site of Hitler’s now infamous Nuremberg rallies, held annually from 1927 to 1938, Nuremberg played a pivotal role for the Nazis during World War II. You’ll learn about the city and indeed the era during a World War II tour today, which includes such sites as the Zeppelin Field, the Palace of Justice and much more. BLD
Day 18. Bamberg
One of the few German cities that wasn’t destroyed during World War II, World Heritage-listed Bamberg beckons your attention morning. You’ll gain great insight during a locally guided tour of the historic city centre. BLD
Day 19. Würzburg
Verdant hills and rich vineyards sit on the edge of Würzburg, while the Main River is a prominent feature of this stunning city. The architectural beauty that further defines Würzburg is on show today as you admire its magnificent baroque palace, the Würzburg Residence. Here, a walk through Würzburg Court Garden is a delight, with its terraced gardens and serene water basin. BLD
Day 20. Miltenberg
Arrive at the beautifully evocative town of Miltenberg, perfectly positioned on the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers. Day 21. Rüdesheim, Rhine Gorge
In Rüdesheim, the Winzerexpress mini-train will take you through town to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. After, as you continue cruising, you will encounter a true holiday highlight – the spectacular Rhine Gorge, widely regarded as the most beautiful section of the Rhine River. Grab your camera and head to the Sun Deck for the best views, watching in awe as you drift past steep vine-covered slopes dotted with ancient castles and strongholds. Day 22. Cologne, Augustusburg Castle
Disembark your ship in Cologne and drive to the town of Brühl. Like a Local – pay a visit to World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Castle and Falkenlust hunting lodge, the lavish rococo-style residences of archbishop-elector Clemens August. On a tour of the 18th-century castle, learn enthralling stories of its infamous former resident and enjoy a guided walk through the perfectly landscaped parks and flowering gardens to Falkenlust hunting lodge. Clustered by historic houses and studded with low bridges, Amsterdam’s network of 17th-century canals lends the city its nickname, ‘Venice of the North’.
